The Dutch police (The Netherlands) have temporarely
connected there new digital Tetra system to there old
analog system (crosslink)

The network is called C2000 wich is the similar to the
UK Airwave network

This is a unique chance to listen to a digital Tetra network
just as if you would have a working Tetra radio like the police do.

There is an online scanner (24/7) wich is now streaming this audio to the internet
The scanner also scans some old analog channels...so you hear a mix of both...when it's Tetra you can hear the typical "plup" at the end of each transmission.

Very rarely you hear a "mishap" when signals get decoded wrongly
Also you may hear a strong "howl" sometimes wich is caused by the fact that police are still carrying around there old analog portables as a back up...this sometimes causes feedback.

The online scanner is receiving 2 different analog channels at 86 Mhz wich are linked to 2 different talkgroups from the Tetra network.

The police dispatch center is located in Haarlem close to Amsterdam

The link may stay alive for a few weeks and then dissappear
forever...chances to ever hear decoded Tetra again are very minimal because other countries either don't allow online scanners or they simply don't link there new tetra network with the older analog network.

A link to this online scanner at my website:

Offcourse they do speak Dutch ...sorry :)
