A new part of the scanning / computer / hacking hobby
is called "Bluesnarfing"

Bluesnarfing is hacking a Gsm phone wich has
integrated Bluetooth (2.4 Ghz)

With a special software program on a laptop with
Bluetooth-module it is possible to contact a Gsm phone
with integrated Bluetooth and make it
do some amazing things without the owner knowing
anything about it,it is not neccesary to know any pin-code.

You can do this from distances between 25 and 500 meters
depending on the situation.

You can:

Download the complete phonebook of the Gsm

Download all the pictures stored in the Gsm

Make the telephone send sms-messages to any other phone
the receiver will think is was really send by the victim phone.

Have the telephone make a call to anywhere in the world
and he will have to pay for it.

Have the phone call you without the owner knowing
about it...you can then hear everything they are saying
in the room where the phine is.

Program the phone to divert an incoming call to anywhere in the
world ...so next time you call it it could connect you with your
sister in columbia ...the victim phone will get charged for the call.

And more !

By connecting a 2.4 ghz yagi antenna to the blutooth module
on the PC it is possible to do this even at a big
distance ..sometimes more then 1000 metrs !

This only works on certain models (Nokia/Sony Ericsson)
To protect your Gsm-phone from being "Bluesnarfed"
you should switch of the Bluetooth in the phone
or get a special update that will solve the problem.

You are warned !

Please have a look at some demonstration video's
wich i have on my website most of them are in English
